Now in their 26th year of international touring, Fanna-Fi-Allah remains one of the foremost traditional Qawwali ensembles in the world today. With thousands of performances across 50+ countries, the group carries the living spirit of Sufi shrine music to audiences worldwide, offering a rare and powerful immersion into this devotional art form.

Led by Tahir Qawwal and supported by a masterful ensemble of tabla, harmonium, and choral vocals, Fanna-Fi-Allah stays rooted in the classical Qawwali tradition, without fusion, electronics, or pop crossover.

Each performance is an expression of spiritual passion, featuring the poetry of Sufi saints such as Amir Khusrau and Baba Farid, delivered through driving rhythms of clapping, soaring chorus lines, and deep, trance-inducing cycles. The atmosphere often includes whirling Sufi dancing and a communal energy that transcends language or belief, inviting all people into a shared space of unity and divine love.

Fanna-Fi-Allah has been touring in Berlin for decades, and we are especially excited to return this year for a powerful night of Qawwali at Festsaal Kreuzberg, a beautiful room for this music. Last year we had a wonderful evening at Heimathafen Neukölln, and this year we are stepping up into a larger venue, and looking forward to it.

Mit tausenden Konzerten in über 50 Ländern bringt die Gruppe den lebendigen Geist der Sufi-Schreinmusik auf Bühnen rund um den Globus, und ermöglicht eine seltene, intensive Begegnung mit dieser hingebungsvollen Musiktradition.

Unter der Leitung von Tahir Qawwal und begleitet von einem meisterhaften Ensemble aus Tabla, Harmonium und Chorgesang bleibt Fanna-Fi-Allah der klassischen Qawwali-Form treu, ohne Fusion, Elektronik oder Pop-Crossover.

Jede Aufführung ist ein Ausdruck spiritueller Leidenschaft, getragen von der Dichtung großer Sufi-Heiliger wie Amir Khusrau und Baba Farid, mit kraftvollen Klatschrhythmen, hohen Chorlinien und tranceartigen, zyklischen Strukturen. Oft entsteht eine Atmosphäre gemeinschaftlicher Ekstase, manchmal begleitet von Sufi-Wirbeltanz, die Sprache und Herkunft in den Hintergrund treten lässt, und Menschen in einem Raum von Einheit und göttlicher Liebe zusammenführt.

Fanna-Fi-Allah tourt seit Jahrzehnten regelmäßig in Berlin, und wir freuen uns besonders darauf, dieses Jahr im Festsaal Kreuzberg zu spielen, eine wunderschöne Location für eine intensive Nacht voller Qawwali. Letztes Jahr war es ein großartiger Abend im Heimathafen Neukölln, dieses Jahr spielen wir eine größere Venue, und wir sind sehr gespannt darauf.
